From the beginning, Waev has been inspired by the natural rhythm of life itself. The name was born from the movement of the waves ~ forever changing, forever evolving, yet always finding their way forward. Like the ocean, life carries us through seasons of growth, challenge, stillness, and transformation. No matter where the tide takes us, there is always beauty to be found in the journey.
This belief has shaped everything we do.
More than creating swimwear, activewear, and resort pieces, our vision has always been to create something that inspires people to embrace adventure, live with intention, and remain connected to the world around them.
We've long been captivated by the magic woven throughout history ~ ancient myths, timeless legends, celestial wonders, and the mysteries of the sea. These stories remind us that there is something extraordinary hidden within everyday life.
That spirit lives within every collection we create.

Waev began during one of the most uncertain periods in modern history.
In 2020, while pursuing professional tennis careers, the world unexpectedly paused. Like many others, we found ourselves facing uncertainty, cancelled plans, and a future that suddenly looked very different from what we had imagined.
Yet within that stillness, something beautiful emerged.
What began as sketches, ideas, and dreams soon transformed into Waev, a brand built from resilience, creativity, and a desire to create something meaningful.
What started from a bedroom floor with endless cups of coffee and countless late nights has grown into a global community of women who share a love for adventure, wellness, freedom, and the natural world.

As we continue growing into 2026 and beyond, our mission remains clear.
We are actively working towards creating collections that are not only 100% sustainable and recycled, but increasingly crafted from beautiful natural fibres and consciously sourced materials that honour both people and planet.
Many of our newest designs are proudly brought to life by our incredible team in Bali, Indonesia. An island long celebrated worldwide for its craftsmanship, artistry, and deep connection to nature. Bali has become a global destination for conscious brands seeking exceptional quality, skilled artisans, and a slower, more intentional approach to production.
For us, it is more than a manufacturing destination.
It is a place that embodies the very values Waev was founded upon: creativity, community, beauty, and respect for the earth.
